New Idea...

I think I am going to start blogging more often, and making this my weight loss blog. I am still doing You Tube videos to keep me on track, but i only make them at the end of each month because it takes too much time. But, I think it will be easy for me to write a little blog each week on how I'm doing with my weight. I will still write about what's going on in my life, because everyone knows that I love to vent, but I just think this will help keep me on track.

I have lately been maintaining at the same weight for the past couple months now, and I'm ready to get my butt in gear and lose the rest of this weight. I need to lose about 60-65 pounds in order to get to my official goal weight, and I am soooo ready! This past weekend I made a list of reminders and goals such as drinking 8 glasses of water a day or exercising at least 3 times a week, and i posted it up on a wall in my room so i can see it everyday. I also started doing exercises this weekend: riding the staionary bike for 20min., working out on the fitness ball for 10min., and doing whatever with my weights. I wrote all those exercises down, plus walking because that's another exercise I love to do, and posted that paper next to the goal paper. I plan to do these exercises on tuesday, thursday, and saturday, because those days i have more time.

Another thing i did to keep me in control, was put a post-it note in the food cabinet and on the fridge, one saying " Don't do it Amanda" and the other saying "You don't need it." And, you're probably laughing at me for doing that, but i have a really bad problem controlling myself when there are yummy snacks in the house. I plan on substituting those snacks with fruits and vegetables, because i don't get enough of those in a day.

Anyway, so this is my plan, or rather my lifestyle change, and im definitely determined. Just like my blog states, "the struggles im facing, the chances im taking...it's all about the climb." I'm climbing my way to happiness and healthiness, and im ready! :)

i need to blog more often as well! i have lots of ideas for blogs to write i just need to dedicate some time each week to getting it done!

good for you with all your goals and reminders and even your notes, its REALLY hard to focus on eating healthy if the whole house isnt doing it because others tend to eat the yummy stuff and leave it wround to tempt us!

steven used to do that to me and it make me fail cause i dont have any willpower!!

yes everyone needs to blog more often, lol. Ya i have a hard time with temptations, and i totally agree it's definitely hard to do it w/o the whole house doing it. But, my mom is actually trying to lose weight too, so it's helping.

Oh i wish i liked blogging, but instead i enjoy reading everyone else's...i'm just not much into writing. Anyway, i have been focusing on a healthier lifestyle since december and doing pretty well including over the holidays. We can keep eachother in check. My biggest obstacle is exercising, working close to 60hrs a week between the jobs is exhausting, but i walk the dog every morning then a few days a week after our walk i do some additional stuff...strength training usually.
So keep it up and i'll check in with ya periodically.

Nice Amanda! I think the little notes are a great idea. When you see them they will help put you into the mindset you were in when you wrote them.

well, i have to make the other ones for valentines, i think i could make them for the 10th too, lol. Dang, everybody is loving these caramel apples!
